Randy Lee Wheeler

Randy Wheeler, 69, a cherished member of the Vidor community, passed away on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at Vidor Health and Rehab in Vidor. Randy was a longtime resident of Vidor and a devout member of Vidor Methodist Church, where his musical talents graced the congregation for years. His passion for playing piano and organ brought joy to many, especially as he played the organ for the church services. Randy found solace in the company of his beloved dog, Pepper, with whom he enjoyed many happy moments.

Randy is survived by his cousins Keith Wheeler, Lu Mighell, and Jo Warren, all hailing from Coppers Cove, TX, as well as his close friend Jill Harper and her husband Paul of Vidor, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Wheeler, his sister Eileen, and his best friend Keith Woodside.

Randy's warm smile, kind heart, and musical talent will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the melodies he loved.
