Ella Alene Jones was born October 25, 1930 near Malvern, Arkansas, and passed this life on April 26, 2012 at the age of 81. She is survived by her children, Michael Howell, Old Salem, Marsha Shifflett, Kountze, Roger Howell, Vidor, Myrna Childs, Orange, and Carol Gary, of Beaumont. She is also survived by sisters Pauline Terrell, Beaumont and Evie Gates, Bauxite, Arkansas, brothers, Calvin Nutt, Malvern Arkansas, Huston Nutt, Kirbyville, Vance Nutt, Benton, Arkansas, Troy Nutt, Malvern, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Her surviving grandchildren include Cory LeBlanc, Kountze, Troy Jones, Lone Oak, Laura Graham, Kountze, Jennifer Howell, Orange, Dwan Crochet, Orange, Jessica Mulhall, Vidor, Thomas Gary Beaumont and Michael Gary, Beaumont. She also has eleven great grandchildren who adore their “Maw Jones.” She is preceded in death by spouses Horace Howell and Billy Joe Jones. She was greeted in heaven by her oldest son David Lee Jones and loving parents Fonza & Eva Nutt. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a celebration of life at 7:30 p.m on Friday April 27, 2012 at Vidor Memorial Funeral. A graveside service and burial will be held at Williams Cemetery in Chapel Hill, Texas on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
