Obituaries

Dwight E. Cobb, 77, of Vidor died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his residence. A native of Brownfield, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1959, and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with Smith Materials. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dwight is survived by his nephews Bill Cobb and wife Debbi of Longview, TX., and John Cobb of Tampa, FL., nieces Donna Taylor and husband Gerry of Dallas, Diane Chumley and husband Steve of Cypress, TX., and Elizabeth Anderson and husband Ken of Venus, TX., great nieces and nephews: Samuel Cobb, Christopher Cobb, Summre Cobb, Shannon Cobb, Rebecca Glover, Laura Howard, Jamie Walker, Kenneth Cobb, Jr., Michael Anderson, Andria Anderson, Nathan Washburn, and Nicholas Washburn.
