A. Joseph 'Joe' Savoy

Joe Savoy, 73, of Vidor died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence. A native of Crock Springs, LA., he has lived in Vidor for 26 years, and was a self-employed air conditioning repairman. He served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Joe was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Savoy. Joe is survived by his wife Peggy Savoy of Vidor, sons Ralph Savoy of Beaumont, Charlie Savoy of San Jose, CA., Randy Savoy of Dallas, TX., Jimmy Savoy of Lumberton, daughters Geneva Kingman of Vidor, and Debra Savoy Corzine of Navarre, FL., brothers Ed Savoy of Venice, LA., Chris Savoy of Bell Chase, LA., sister Jean Devries of Beaumont, eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
