A.B. Woodward

A.B. Woody Woodward, 96, of Vidor died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, TX. A native of Gardner, Louisiana he has lived in Vidor since 1957. He was a seaman, and in later years was a retired store keeper for Gulf Oil Co. Austin was a proud member of the Eagles Lodge in Port Arthur, TX. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Austin is survived by his sons, Darrel A. Woodward, and Drew Woodward both of Vidor, daughters, Catherine Croom, and Ginny Delacerda both of Vidor, sisters, Dorothy Dauzat of California, and Inez Tourres of Alexandria, LA., nine grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. Austin was preceded in death by his wife Colette Woodward.
