Addie Ruth Jackson

Addie R. Jackson, 84, of Wimberly died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Hill Country Care Nursing Home in Dripping Springs, Texas. A native of Merryville, LA., she has lived in Wimberly since 2003, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Bivens Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana. Addie was preceded in death by her husband R J Jackson, parents A T and Mary Perrry, brothers Bertis West, Arnold West, A T Perry, Emmett Perry, and Mathus Perry, sisters Ollie Franks, Neva Cochran, Bonnie Cagle, and Mittie Cooper, and a great grandson Edward Robert Bush. She is survived by her son Robert J. Jackson, Jr of Sugarland, TX., daughters Linda Sparks and husband Chester of Wimberly, Sheila Bush and husband Mike of Boise, ID., and Shelly Luman and husband Redell of New Caney, TX., sisters Anne Sapp of Waco, Iris Buford of DeQuincy, LA., and Mary Watson of Merryville, LA., eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
