Lance Carver, 65 of Vidor died Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 in Sour Lake, Texas. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lance attended Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor. He was an carpenter for the maintenance department at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Lance's passion was music, he played the guitar and sang vocals in his band Triple Threat. The love of his life was his precious granddaughter Paisley. He also loved fishing. Lance and Kelley lived with Kelley's mother Ruth Breaux and her brother Mitch Breaux for the past 3 weeks where Ruth and Mitch helped take care of him during his finale days. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lance is survived by his wife of 42 years Kelley Carver of Vidor, TX, daughter Katy Carver of Mauriceville, TX, son Adam Carver of Vidor, TX, sister Stormy Bock of Lumberton, TX, brother Fred Carver and his wife Suzanne of Beaumont, TX, half sister Linda Pillow and half brother Jim Carver, 1 granddaughter Paisley Carver, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the children department at Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor. Preceded in death by his father Fred Carver and mother Helen Carver, brother Russell Cash Carver.
