Alfred Lee Daniel

Alfred L. Daniel, 90, of Beaumont died Sunday, June 6, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Baton Rouge, LA., he lived in Vidor, and Crystal Beach for many years before moving to Beaumont 7 years ago. Alfred was a longtime proud member of the Masons, and the Shriner’s, and served as Councilman, and Mayor of Crystal Beach, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin Monday, June 7, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Lucille of Beaumont, daughter, Edythe Mathews of Lumberton, TX., and numerous grandchildren, great, and great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church of Beaumont General Fund, 3810 North Major Dr., Beaumont, TX., 77713.
