Alice Sims

Alice Sims, 78, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Houston, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1958, and was a retired nurse’s aide from Beaumont Nuerological Center in Beaumont, TX. She was a proud member of The Red Hat Club of Vidor, and Spirit of Hope at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her sons, Richard Sims of Mauriceville, TX., and Steve Sims of Vidor, daughter, Brenda Finley of Vidor, sisters, Wvonne Willoughby of Longview, TX., Doris Hankamer of Suncity, TX., and Opal Deanna Turpin of Surprise, AZ., eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
