Allen Fit C. Williamson, Sr

Allen “Fit” C. Williamson Sr, 74, of Vidor died Monday, January 2, 2006 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, TX. He was a native and lifelong resident of Vidor. Fit was a retired carpenter with the Local Union #502 and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He was a Past Patron for three terms with the Order of the Eastern Star #914 and a Past Master of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge # 1420. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at memorial Funeral Home. Fit was preceded in death by his son Grant “Bubba” Williamson, grandchildren: Jenna and Matthew, and sister: Reba “Pitter” Glover of Vidor, TX. He was survived by his wife of 54 years Betty Lou Williamson of Vidor, TX, sons: Allen Williamson, Jr and his wife Kathryn of Bridge City, TX, Les Williamson of Vidor, TX, Brent Williamson and his wife Alexis of Pawcatuck, CT, John Williamson and his wife Kali of Lumberton, TX, daughter: Diane “Sissy” O’Neal and her husband Charlie of Lafayette, LA, sisters: Claudine Thomas, Laura Rainbolt both of Vidor, TX, grandchildren: Scott, Neil, Janie, Jeremy, Jason, Joni, Cassie, Lacey, Adam, Bethany, Shane, Aaron, Chelsea, Michael, Henry, Johnny, Samuel, Emily, Erica, and 8 great-grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers: donations can be made to the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge College Fund.
