Alma Louise Manuel

Alma L. Manuel, 76 of Vidor died Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at her residence. A native of China, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Alma was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was the last homecoming queen of China High School and was all district in Basketball for 3 years, she also was a FFA sweetheart. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at China Cemetery in China, Texas. Alma is survived by her husband of 58 years David Manuel of Vidor, TX, children Sophia Chapman and her husband Randal of College Station, TX, Lastie Mark Manuel and his wife Stacy of Evadale, TX, Penny Beggs and her husband Patrick of Vidor, TX, Tammy Manuel Hanks of Mauriceville, TX, 1 sister and 2 brothers , 12 grandchildren Travis Lea, Tyler Lea, Kaily Kelly, Amanda Phillips, Laura Chapman, Beau Manuel, Blake Manuel, Shelby Manuel, Davin Swazey, Chelsea Haeggquist, Chad Beggs, Owen Hanks and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and a son-in-law Kevin Hanks.
