Alvin Odell Coleman

Alvin O. Coleman, 78, of Vidor died Sunday, May 23, 2004 at his residence in Vidor. A native of San Augustine County, he has lived in Vidor since 1956. Alvin retired from Bethlehem Steel after 30 years were he worked as a ship fitter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2004 at the funeral home. He is survived by his son: Alvin Joe Coleman of Vidor, TX., daughters: Shirley Osborne of Port Neches, TX., Sherry Daughdrill Roberts of Vidor, TX., brother: Albert Coleman of Brookeland, TX., sister:Sylvia Haley of Silsbee, TX., 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
