Annie Doris Goodman

Annie Doris Goodman died June 28th, 2016, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley, and her son, Larry, and grandson, Aaron Goodman. She is survived by her son, Randy, his wife Anita, grandsons Wade and Randy Goodman, and granddaughters Megan Goodman and Lisa Caldwell, great grandson Haden Vryol. Doris graduated from Vidor High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Wesley, and together they built a successful jewelry business, Goodman's Jewelry. Prior to opening the jewelry store, Wesley was in the Air Force and was able to move his family to post war Germany where they lived for two years. Doris' greatest passion was gardening. She spent countless hours creating and maintaining her beautiful yard. It was a source of great pride. Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, followed by a graveside service at Restlawn Memorial Park at 2:00 pm where she will join her beloved Wesley.
