Annie Hilda Mae Marie

Hilda Marie, 80, of Vidor died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at The Meadows Nursing Home in Orange. A native of Gulfport, MS., she has lived in Vidor for 43 years and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph James Marie, Sr, parents Alfred and Florence Carter, brothers Albert Carter, James Moran, and ONeal Carter, sisters Myrtis Carter, and Mildred Ladner, great-great grandchild Gracie Marie Robin. She is survived by her son Rudolph James Marie, Jr of Simpson, LA., daughters Carolyn E. Nicholas of Beaumont, Ada D. Hebert of Orange, Florence L. Jones of Clarkesville, TN., Shirley A. Rivera, Janice E. Whitmore both of Vidor, and Vicki L. Mancill of Houston, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
