Annie Maurine Cathey

Maurine Cathey, 92 of Vidor died Monday, May 10th, 2021 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Maurine was a member of Vidor Church of Christ and retired from Beaumont Neurological Hospital as an Registered Nurse. Maurine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral home of Vidor. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 pm Monday, May 17, 2021 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Maurine was preceded in death by her husband James Cathey and son-in-law Bill Watkins. She is survived by her daughters Susan Miller and her husband Tommy of San Antonio, TX, Bettie Watkins of Vidor, TX, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
