Artie Cody Rushing

Artie Rushing, 82, of Vidor died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home of Vidor. A longtime resident of Vidor, he was retired from the road and bridge department of Orange County Precinct 4 after 30+ years of service. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his son Mike Rushing of Vidor, daughters Joyce Simmons of Mauriceville, Linda Fontenot of China, TX., and Anita Sanborn of Vidor. The family would like to give a special thanks to Oakwood Manor Nursing Home, and Odyssey Hospice for there compassionate care.
