Audie Renea Gillis

Audie Gillis, 33, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Beaumont, TX and a lifelong resident of Vidor. Audie was a homemaker and attended Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at Fountain Cemetery in Starks, LA at 4:00 p.m.. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church. Audie was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Gillis and brother Jerry K. Gillis. She is survived by her husband Jonathon Melvin, son Bradin Melvin, father Jerry L. Gillis, and sister Traci Rose all of Vidor, TX, grandmothers Audie Marshall of Vidor, TX and Lurline Gillis of Starks, LA, nephews DJ Rose, Garrett Rose, and Kevin Henry.
