Bertha Jean Schild

Bertha Jean Schild, 77, of Vidor died Monday, February 7th, 2022 at her residence in Vidor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was the owner and operator of Schoolhouse Video. She was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Bertha is survived by her sons Brian Dale and wife Ettie Thompson of Vidor, TX, Terry William Thompson of Greenville, IN and John Michael and wife Shannon Schild of Vidor, TX, her sister Barbara Haynes of Indiana, Rita K. Cobble of Florida, and Maudrie Porter of Michigan as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Schild, sisters Ruthie Mathis and Elizabeth Wayne.
