Bertha Mae Richardson

Bertha M. Richardson, 98, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Newton, she was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband Walter Smith. She is survived by her son Walter Smith and wife Peggy of Vidor, three grandchildren: Robert Smith and wife Beth, Karen Sue Cochran and husband Steve, and Penny Royal and husband Robert.
