Bettie Ann Morvant

Bettie Ann Morvant, 77 died Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 in Beaumont, TX. She was a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Vidor, TX. Bettie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and loved her Lord. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing and loved her job. Her hobbies were reading, especially her Bible and crafting. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Pt. Neches. Bettie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Randolph Morvant, Jr. 1 son, Randolph Morvant, III and his wife Joanie of Vidor, 1 daughter, Rhonda Aline Laffoon and her husband Steven of Vidor, 4 grandsons, Colby Morvant, Derick Laffoon, Hunter Laffoon, and Jerry Smith, Jr., 4 granddaughters, Wyndi Odom, Kayla Waldrep, Stephanie Waldrep and Kaycie Waldrep and 2 great granddaughters, Emma Odom and Rose Morvant. She is also survived by 3 nephews, Jay Fox, James Fox and Tom Fox and 1 niece, Teresa Fanning.
