Betty Jo Jones Flannigan

Betty J. Jones Flannagin, 79, of Vidor died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Votaw, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Betty was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in VIdor and she retired as Food Service Manager for VISD. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 6, 2014 at Harmony Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw, TX at 1:00 pm. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Betty was preceded in death by her husbands Ruil L. 'Buck' Jones and Patrick Flannigan, step-son Bob Jones. She is survived by her son Michael L. Jones and Rhonda of Vidor, TX, daughters Audrey McDonald and her husband Donnie of Vidor, TX, Stacey Posey and her husband Danny of Buna, TX, step-son Charles Jones of Houston, TX, step-daughters Patricia Anderson and her husband Bobby of Orange, TX, Colleen Hill of Vidor, TX, Janette Welch and her husband Ed of CA, Sherry Grissom of LA, sister Wilma Jackson of Votaw, TX, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
