Betty Jo Mccabe

Betty Jo McCabe, 76, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Honey Island, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Betty had her solo pilots license in the 60's and flew a Cessna 150. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #914. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her husband Dudley McCabe, son Warren McCabe, daughter-in-law Angela McCabe and grandson Marty McCabe, daughter Becky McCabe, sisters Margaret Langston, Barbara Patrick and Mary Crawford, brother Kenneth Cain. She is survived by her son Roger McCabe of Vidor, TX, daughter Carol McCabe of Vidor, TX, brothers John Rountree of Kountze, TX, David Rountree of Silsbee, TX, Bill Rountree of Nederland, TX, sisters Nettie Harvey of Kirbyville, TX, Nancy O'Quinn of Sislbee, TX, grandchildren Clint Williams of Vidor, TX, Laura Williams of Vidor, TX, Rachel McCabe of Palestine, TX, Kim Joslin of Palestine, TX, great grandchildren Madelin, Camdin, and Corbin Joslin.
