Betty Lois Reid

Betty Mercer Reid, 79, of Vidor went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2014. Betty passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and granny. She enjoyed spending time with her family, garage selling & traveling with her husband of 43 years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Growing in Christ Church in Sour Lake, Texas under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Bolton and Mertie Mercer, as well as her two brothers. Betty is survived by her loving husband Johnny Reid, her children Pete Herbert, Becky & Willie Copeland, Linda Haley, Tina & Wes Orr and Mary & Kevin Brocato. She also had 13 grandkids & 22 great grandkids.
