Wilburn quot;Billquot; Douglas Lakey, 78, of vidor died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Brookeland, TX., he resided in Vidor since 1972. Bill served his country during WW II in the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his son: Ronald D. Lakey of Vidor, TX., daughter: Linda Lakey of Beaumont, TX., 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
