Billie Max 'Red' Talbert

Red Talbert, 81, of Vidor died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Vidor Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Patroon, TX., he was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a retired boilermaker with Local # 587. He served his country in the Army/Air Corp, Navy, and Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Beaumont American Legion Post 33. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Red is survived by his sons Bobby Talbert of Milam, TX., Randy Talbert and Travis Talbert both of Vidor, brother Cranford Talbert of Conroe, sister Sue Lawson of Pearland, thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
