Billy Jack 'Pete' Cook

Pete Cook, 82, of Vidor died Monday, May 16, 2011 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Athens, TX., he has lived in Vidor for well over 50 years, and was a service technician with Data Card. He served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Hayman Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Pete is survived by his wife Nina Ruth Cook of Vidor, sons Dusty Slade Cook of Pasadena, TX., and Aaron Cook of Vidor, daughters Cala Scott of Albuquerque, NM., Billie Georgette Powell of McGregor, TX., Grace Annell Cook, and Patricia Ware both of Nederland, fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
