Billy Wayne Smith

Billy Wayne Smith, 67, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Billy retired from US Steel Company and worked with Smith Pump and Well Service. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and enjoyed working on hot rods and building computers. Billy is survived by his wife of 7 years; Lani Smith, 2 sons; Danny Smith of Vidor and Ben Smith of Lumberton, TX, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister; Peggy S. Ramb of Vidor and 1 brother; Terry Smith and his wife Liz also of Vidor along with numerous nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; Loyd Smith and Norma Dorman, 1 daughter; Tammy Jo Smith and 2 brothers; Loyd Smith Jr. and Johnny Smith.
