Blanche Mayo, 90, of Vidor died Friday, May 12, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Chester, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1945, and was a homemaker. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Vidor, and a member of many clubs and organizations with her church. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with graveside services to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents Enoch and Della Priest, and husband W. N. Mayo. She is survived by her sons James T. Loving and wife Linda of Chester, TX., and Tommy Mayo and wife Jenifer of Moss Bluff, LA., daughters, Margaret Cornell and husband Jack of Orangefield, TX., Mary Freeman and husband Lester of Mauriceville, TX., Billie Harper, Willie Pitman and husband JD, and Della Hemmenway and husband Barry all of Vidor, TX. Seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be forwarded to: First Baptist Church of Vidor Building Fund, 410 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas 77662.
