Bobby Slick Morgan

Bobby “Slick” Morgan, 66, of Vidor died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont, he has lived in Vidor for 42 years, and he retired from Local # 195 after 38 years as a pipe-fitter-welder. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Slick is survived by his father, Tom Morgan of Beaumont, sons, Robert Morgan of Dickinson, TX., Mark Morgan, and Nathan Morgan both of Vidor, Jason Morgan, and Joshua Morgan both of Orange, TX., Dewayne Defee and Billy Defee both of Vidor, daughters, Carla Banda of Beaumont, Tabitha English of Port Neches, brothers, Kenneth Morgan, and Tom Morgan, Jr., both of Beaumont, TX., sisters, Joy Gay McHaney, Carol Raynes, and Sandy Parsons all of Beaumont, TX., eighteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
