Brent Lane Briggs, Jr.

Brent L. Briggs, Jr., 22, of Port Neches died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Nederland, TX., he was a longtime resident of Port Neches, TX., and was a student at Brigham Young University. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints and he served in the Durban South Africa Mission for two years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Brent is survived by his parents: Brent and Connie Briggs, Sr. of Vidor, TX., sisters: Natalie Ovalle of Vidor, TX., Cherise Fawcett of Vidor, TX., Scarlett Parkinson of Victor, ID., Somer Williamson of Vidor, TX., Candyce Briggs of Alta, WY., fiancé: Mary Ann Cavanaugh Salt Lake City, UT., Grandmother: Elaine Briggs of Vidor, TX., 13 nieces and nephews.
