Brian "Smitty" Steven Smith

Brian "Smitty" Steven Smith, 42 of Beaumont died Friday, August 27th, 2021 at his residence. He was a native and a longtime resident of Beaumont. Smitty was raised in Vidor and graduated from Vidor High School class of 97. He was a star athlete in high school where he played many sports, but he excelled at football and power lifting. He was a bartender for Bruno's Restaurant. Smitty was also a very talented artist. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 10, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Smitty was preceded in death by his mother LaRay Smith, grandparents Albert and Joyce Hammond, Harland and Lucille Smith. He is survived by his father Steve Smith of Vidor, TX, siblings Kim Mitchell and her husband Daniel of Sulphur, LA, Dan Smith and his wife Kayla of Sulphur, LA, Jason Smith and his wife Amanda of Vidor, TX, Curtis Smith of Vidor, TX and Alicia Smith of Vidor, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
