Brown Williams, Sr.

Brown Williams, Sr., 90, of Vidor died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Teague, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1940, and was a retired machinist with Unical Refinery after 38 years of faithful service. Brown was a longtime member of the machinist union, and proud member of the Rose City Baptist Church in Rose City, TX.. Graveside services will be Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at Davis Cemetery in Kirbyville, TX., under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Brown is survived by his wife of 70 years Margaret Williams of Vidor, son, Earl B. Williams, Jr., of Roganville, TX., daughters, Lynne Minton of Lumberton, TX., and Jean Hebert of Lake Charles, LA., four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
