Bruce Wayne Hampshire

Bruce W. Hampshire, 48, of Vidor died Friday, July 2, 2010 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Vidor, he was a roofer with Hampshire Roofing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Sammie Hampshire, brothers Billy Hampshire, and Brian Hampshire, and grandparents Jack and Pansy Lewis. He is survived by his wife Anna Hampshire, son Austin Lum, daughters Angie Conn, Klarissa Hampshire, and Breiya Lum all of Vidor, mother Nelda Brooks of Longview, brothers Bobby Hampshire of Lumberton, Bradley Hampshire of Pensacola, FL., John Taylor of Tarkington, TX., Sammie Hampshire, Jr., and Wesley Hampshire both of Vidor, sisters Lynette Williams of Winnsboro, LA., and Susan Schmit of Lawn, TX., Joy Deleon of Longview, May Lee Hampshire and Glenda Sue Hampshire both of Vidor, three grandchildren: Breyanna Marshall, Jorgan Camp, and Zachary Marshall.
