Carl Buddy Spears

Carl “Buddy” Spears, 81, of Vidor died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Pine Bluff, AR, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Carl was a retired Iron Worker with Local Union 135. He served his country in the US Navy during WW II. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Carl is survived by his wife Grace Spears of Vidor, TX, son Billy Spears of Sabine Pass, TX, daughters Lois McGee of Gilchrist, TX, Rita Miller of Winchester, KY, Linda Spears of Rose City, TX, sister Olive Longinon of Amelia, TX, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
