Carol Jean Ward

Carol J. Ward, 55, of Vidor died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in Mauriceville, TX. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Carol was a past board member of the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life Orange branch. She was the Treasurer for the Vidor High School Class of 1974. Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she also cross-stitched. Carol was a member of St. Mark\'s the Evangelist Catholic Church in Silsbee. A liturgy outside mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Carol is survived by her sister Dorothy Rainwater and a host of family and friends.
