Catherine Sue Beathard

Sue Beathard, 74, of Vidor died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Oberlin, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sue was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Sue was preceded in death by her son Donald Neil Beathard, daughter Kaye Harvey, parents Kenneth and Edna Croak, and brother Ivan Croak. She is survived by her husband Don Beathard, son Dr. Steven Beathard and his wife Kim of Austin, TX, brother Pete Croak and his wife Shirley of Vidor, TX, sister Millie Laidacker and her husband Michael of Beaumont, TX, sister-in-law Betty Croak of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Madison, McKenna, Merritt Beathard and Briana Kibodeaux and her husband Adam. nephews Peter Croak, Kevin Croak and his wife Tiffini, Kenny Croak and his wife Joni, David Croak and his wife Linda, nieces Margot Laidacker, Monica Pavlich and her husband Jeremy.
