Charles Allen Garrard

Charles A. Garrard, 63, of Vidor died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Charles was born November 11, 1946 in Hattesburg, Mississippi to Joe and Mildred Garrard. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a member of the First Church of God in Beaumont. Charles was a self employed Water Well Driller and a licenced Plummer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Charles was preceded in death by his father Joe Garrard. He is survived by his son Joel Garrard and daughter Shirah Garrard both of Vidor, TX, mother Mildred Garrard of Vidor, TX, sisters Jane Stevenson and her husband Sonny of Vidor, TX, Pat Erwin and her husband David of Mauriceville, TX. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Jose Lozano and the staff at the Beaumont Kidney Center for their diligent and constant care of Charles.
