Charles 'Doug' Douglas York

Doug York, 58, of Vidor died Monday, March 14, 2011 at his residence. A native of Silsbee, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a investigator with Reaud Morgan and Quinn Law Firm in Beaumont. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local #195 in Nederland and served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Doug was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Louise York, and one grandchild. He is survived by his wife Brenda York, sons Chad York and Robie York, daughter Tara Zyp, and sister Brenda Roshto all of Vidor, seven grandchildren, nephews Jody and Mark Pate and numerous other nieces and nephews.
