Charles Earlton Wright

June 20, 1928 — August 12, 2004

Charles E. Wright, 76, of Vidor died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of San Augustine, TX., he resided in Vidor for the past 45 years. Charles owned and operated Vidor Mobile Home Center since 1973 and retired in 2001. He was a member of the Texas Manufactured Housing Assoc., Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, Texas Buyers Group and a charter member of the Vidor Rotary Club. Charles served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was an avid outdoors man. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper at 1:00 p.m.. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the funeral home. Charles is survived by wife of 29 years Abbie Wright of Vidor, TX., sons: Paul Skinner and his wife Cindy of Sour Lake, TX., Randy Wright and his wife Debbie, Curtis Wright and his Wife Rebecca, Jeff Wright and his wife Christy all of Vidor, TX., daughters: Kay Gabrysch and her husband Ray of Colleyville, TX., Debbie Barker and her husband Alfred of Hamshire, TX., Julie Lyssy and her husband Mike of San Antonio, TX., brother: Robert Dwise Wright and his wife Doris of Jasper, TX., grandchildren: Michelle Skinner, Ryan Skinner, Jeremy Gabrysch, Merissa Gabrysch, Tiffany Coffman, Keisha Smith, Brandon Lyssy, Amanda Shirley, Miranda Wright, Curtis Wright, Jr., Brandi Wright, Carl Hancock, Jennifer Korman and 7 great-grandchildren.
