Charles Lee Comeaux

Charles L. Comeaux, 75, of Vidor died Monday, March 15, 2010 at his residence. A native of Church Point, LA., he was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a retired painter with the Painters Local in Nederland. He served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge, and a member of the Vidor VFW post # 8246, and the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation and Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Charles is survived by his wife of 14 years Cecilia Comeaux of Vidor, sons Chris Comeaux of Vidor, Charlie Comeaux of Port Acres, and Curtis Comeaux of Lumberton, daughter Angela Fusilear of Bridge City, eighteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
