Charles Wallace Smith

Wallace Smith 83, of Denton, Texas died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Denton Rehab and Nursing Home in Denton, TX. A native of DeQuincy, LA., he lived in Vidor for 80 years before moving to Denton 3 years ago. He retired in 1988 after 20 years as a Head Draftsman and Designer for Dupont. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Smith, brother Benny Smith, sisters Virginia Denson, and Dorothy Free. He is survived by his daughter Kandace Koelling of Hickory Creek, TX., brother Lynn Smith of Vidor, and sister Melba Borel of Humble, TX., and two grandchildren: Alexa Sebek of Onalaska, TX., and Meredith Agnew of Austin, TX.
