Christopher Dalton Erwin

Christopher D. Erwin, 44, of Vidor died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a lifetime resident of Vidor, and was a boilermaker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather Dalton L. Erwin, grandparents Harold W. and Josephine M. Tice and step-father Lester L. Smith. He is survived by his wife Karla Erwin, son Joshua D. Erwin both of Vidor, daughter Natasha R. Erwin of Universal City, TX., father Rickey Erwin, mother Pamala Smith, grandmother Helen C. Erwin all of Vidor, sisters Sherry L. Palombo and husband Keithof Groves, TX., Cynthia McDaniel of Vidor, Vickie Wall and husband John of Beaumont, Pete Philmon and husband Mark, and Karen Kettl all of Vidor, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
