Christopher Jay Torres

Christopher J. Torres, 54, of Houston died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at his residence. A native of Vidor, he lived in Montgomery, and the Houston area for 23 years, before moving back to Vidor. He was a truck driver with Kraft, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his sons Lucas Torres of Vidor, Simon Torres and wife Amy of League City, and Timothy Torres of Conroe, parents O. J. and Martha Ann Thomas Torres, sisters Deborah Emfinger and husband Charley, Karen Clark and husband Al all of Vidor, and two grandchildren Micah Torres, and Leila Torres.
