Christopher Nicholas Mercuri

Chris N. Mercuri, 19, of Vidor died Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, he lived in Vidor for the past 5 years. Chris was just inducted into the U.S.Army September 11, 2006 and was to report to Fort Benning, Ga for Infantry training October 18, 2006. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. A Funeral Liturgy Outside Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Chris is survived by his mother and step father: Bernadette and James Edwards of Vidor, TX, his pops: David Sanchez of Beaumont, TX, brother: TSGT Jerry Robertson, Jr of San Antonio, TX, sister: Kristen Mooney of Lawton, OK and several aunts and uncles.
