Claire Lasante

Claire A. LaSante passed away on July 23, 2007 after a long battle with Alzheimer. Born July 26, 1923 in Biddeford, Maine, she resided there until she moved to Dover, New Hampshire, in 1950 where she and her husband raised three children. She was a seamstress at Dover Fashions and numerous shoe shops in the surrounding area. She later retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she lived until 2005 where she moved to Vidor, Texas, to live with her family. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007 in the Rectory Chapel at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Claire was preceded in death by both of her parents, a brother and a sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Gerard LaSante, sons Roger LaSante of Prattsburg, NY, Wayne LaSante and his wife Susan of Littleton, MA, daughter Eliane Mumford and her husband Allen of Vidor, TX, 7 grandchildren , sisters Rita Roy of Port St. Lucie, FL, Terese Saucier of Biddeford, ME.
