Clara Bernice Donahoe

October 9, 1940 — April 1, 2006

Bernice “Pie” Donahoe, 65, of Vidor died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Jennings, Louisiana she has lived in Vidor for 36 years and was a homemaker. She was a proud member of the Dominican Laity and the Dulcimer Group. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2006, with a Christian Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emily and Vernice Young, and daughter, Bethel Ann Donahoe. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Jerry Donahoe of Vidor, daughters, Terry Dobrovolsky and husband David of Bryan, TX., Renee Miller of Vidor, TX., and Andrea Reeves and husband Mark of Burkeville, TX., brother, Bobby Young and wife Eula Mae of Jennings, LA., sister, Jean Leger and husband Lucien of Lake Charles, LA., and five grandchildren: Travis Kiser, Nathan Kiser, Christopher Smith, Hannah Reeves, and Lucas Reeves.
