Clarence Harding Francis

Clarence H. Francis, 88, of Vidor died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. A native of Trigg County, KY., he has lived in Vidor since 1958, and was a retired machinists with C&D Engineering. He served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict, and retired from the United States Navy. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Ozella Francis, brothers Olis M. Francis, Edwin K. Francis, Burt Francis, sister Marie Francis,and one grandson Jason Francis. He is survived by his son James L. Francis of Orange, step-sons Ben W. Cooper of Hubbard, TX., and Albert T. Padgett of Vidor, daughters Cynthia K. Pizzey, and Constance K. Weatherford both of Vidor, sister Edna W. Townsend of St. Louis, MO., three granddaughters, and two great grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Autism Society.
