Claudene Powers

Claudene Powers, 75, a longtime resident of Vidor, died Monday, July 20th, 2015 in Beaumont. She liked to crochet and collect anything and everything that was "Elvis", but she especially loved to spend time in her garden and working with flowers. Claudene is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Evans of Oregon and Lee Jay Powers of Florida, a daughter, Darlene Powers of Dallas, a sister, Pam Morris of Pt. Neches and 2 brothers, Jerry Nicholson and wife Yvonne of Nederland and Ray Williams and wife Mary of Beaumont, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Claudene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Powers, 3 daughters, Margie LaFleur, Debra Berryhill, and Janet Villafano, 1 son, Kyle Evans, and a sister, Barbara Martin. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
