Curt Miles Travis

Curt M. Travis, 30, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Vidor, TX. A native of Galveston, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a house leveler with Peanuts House Leveling. Funeral services will be held at Sunday, April 12, 2009 with cremation to follow at Haven of Rest Crematory. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Curt was preceded in death by his father Sylvester F. Travis.He is survived by his wife Candace Travis of Vidor, son Blake Travis of Mauriceville, daughter Kady Travis of Vidor, mother Melba Hoffpauir of Vidor, brothers William Travis of Lumberton, Mack Self of Vidor, Cale OPry of Lumberton, grandparents William Simmons, Jr., and Kimberly Perkins both of Vidor, aunt Darlene Simmons of Jacksonville, TX., uncles William E. Simmons, III of Parchmon, MS., Paul Simmons of Lumberton, Richard and Linda Travis of Rose City, and Johnny and Annie Chambliss of Vidor.
