Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Emmert

Cindy Emmert, 60, of Nederland, TX died Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at home. A native of Pt. Arthur, TX she lived in Nederland for many years. Cindy was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland and enjoyed singing, playing pool, and helping other people. She enjoyed life and loved her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A graveside service will be Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park with interment to follow. Cindy is survived by her husband; Steve Matlock of Nederland, 2 daughters; Karen Gorham and her husband Justin of Orange, TX and Jo Ann Emmert of Nederland, 2 sons; Michael Emmert and his wife Amber of Beaumont, TX and Russell Emmert of Hammond, LA, and 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers; Andrew Broussard, Alan Broussard, Sr., Charlie Broussard and his wife Candie and Kenneth Broussard, and cousin Alan Broussard, Jr. and his wife Kisa. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Luella Broussard.
